Your existing flooring can be repaired and then re-coated using premium industrial grade 2 pack epoxy to prevent concrete dust, making any cleanup a breathe.

The key to any successful floor system installation is a proper surface preparation. We utilize the most advanced line of preparation equipment available to the industry and constantly training to keep current with the newest and most up-to-date products and methods that are released onto the Australian market. Our tradesmen are trained in the use of captive shot-blasting, scarification, concrete diamond grinding & polishing, floor topping removal and professional application of 2 pack Epoxy.
Epoxy Application
Epoxy is formed from two different chemicals. These are referred to as the "resin" and the "hardener". When these compounds are mixed together, the amine groups react with the epoxide groups to form a covalent bond. The resulting polymer is heavily crosslinked, and is thus rigid and strong. The process of polymerization is called "curing", and can be controlled through temperature and choice of resin and hardener compounds; the process can take minutes to hours. Some formulations benefit from heating during the cure period, whereas others simply require time, and ambient temperatures.

Concrete Polishing
We offer two types of concrete polishing:
•Cost effective grind and seal: We grind the concrete to 120 grit using diamond stones and then apply 2-3 coats of concrete sealer. The concrete sealer should be reapplied every 3-5 years to keep it in best condition. To recoat the concrete will cost only $10 + gst per square metre, so the maintenance is cheap, comparing to other floor coatings. We use water based 2 pack Concrete sealers because they are odorless and do not scratch as easily as some solvent based sealers and have a reasonable life span.
•Mirror like floor: We grind the concrete to 120 grit using diamond stones and then apply a concrete sealer, that penetrates the concrete and forms a gel that blocks the pores and hardens. This will not allow dust to escape or penetrate the surface. Then we polish your concrete floor using resin diamonds graded 50, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1500 and 3000 to get natural shine out of the concrete. The end result will be similar to granite bench tops. The concrete surface is extremely hard and does not require sealing.
